Langston Technology Hub

Congratulations to the Langston Technology Hub for being a finalist in the Chamber of Commerce's Best Business Awards!

Langston Technology Hub, located in the heart of Langston, is a one-stop resource for professional and personal development. The facility includes a proctored testing center, private offices, a conference room, and even a shower station. From “Tech for Tots” to “Cyber for Seniors,” the Hub offers programs and services that serve the whole family.

Langston Technology Hub is also proud to be part of a groundbreaking USDA-funded initiative designed to support historically disadvantaged rice farmers. By using drone technology as a cost-effective alternative to expensive precision leveling methods, the project helps farmers conserve resources and improve crop yields—paving the way for a more sustainable and equitable future in agriculture.

But Langston Hub’s impact goes beyond the field. Jimi and his team are also actively mentoring local youth as they pursue their Public Land Use Certifications, investing in the next generation of land stewards.

A proud alumnus of the Arlington Center for Leadership’s Lead Program (Class of 2020), Jimi didn’t let the pandemic dull his experience. In a heartfelt gesture of community spirit, he personally delivered 56 pizzas to his fellow classmates—proof that not even a global crisis can stop meaningful connection.

Reflecting on his 35 years in business, Jimi shares: “I’m not greedy, I’m hungry—in terms of who I can support. . . It all starts with kindness.”

We look forward to getting to know Langston Technology Hub even better through our People and Places program. Stay tuned!
