Participants in the BizLaunch Transformational Challenge have been working for three months, developing their business idea, projecting their financials and developing a pitch presentation to compete for a grand cash prize of $5,000.
This is your opportunity to hear from local entrepreneurs and support Arlington’s vibrant small business community. Whether you’re a seasoned entrepreneur, business agency provider or a creative thinker with a passion for small business, your presence is vital. Join your local community at the Cherrydale Farmers Market, where fresh finds, good vibes, and live music by local artists come together every week—rain or shine. The market runs Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm, April through November, at Dorothy Hamm Middle School. As a local, producer-only market, each vendor grows, raises, bakes, cooks, or prepares their products themselves—and everything comes from within 125 miles of Arlington.

Earth Month Celebration at the Netherlands Carillon
Come join the National Park Service, Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail, and the Arlington Public Library to celebrate Earth Day. Listen to music performed live by the Carillonneurs on the 53-bell carillon, a gift given to the United States by the Netherlands for their assistance during World War II. Enjoy live music, stroopwafels, giveaways, kid’s crafts, and storytime while the tulips are in bloom.
