This concept can be broadened and intertwined, for instance, by making early connections with nearby students and schools along Langston Blvd. Art provides a path toward individual enrichment, with access to art experiences that enrich us as individuals and offer new perspectives on our community and cultural awareness.

At the western end of Langston Blvd. stands LAC, for many years a fully equipped professional studio for artists working in ceramics and printmaking. The Center housed a mini-gallery, and offered master workshops and an annual show and sale. While such services are scheduled to be relocated elsewhere in Arlington, a need still exists for spaces to celebrate, encourage and incubate the work of local artists.
