For June only, we’re thrilled to partner with the Equality Chamber of Commerce, a driving force for LGBTQIA+ economic empowerment in the DMV. ECCDC supports queer-owned businesses, uplifts professionals of all identities, and advocates for those who have faced systemic barriers in the workplace and marketplace. Our theme is “Building a Beloved Community”. “Beloved Community” is a vision of a society where justice, love, and equality prevail, popularized by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Our guest speaker is Rev. Dr. Adrian Nelson II, the pastor of Lomax African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church and a Dr. King Scholar.

Volunteer Arlington honors this day by connecting individuals of all ages across Arlington and Northern Virginia to engage in meaningful service. Join us for a variety of service projects on Monday, January 19, 2026, with an opening program at Washington-Liberty High School.
