The Leadership, Career, and Volunteer Expo is a free event that includes leadership development seminars, opportunities to connect with community leaders from the business, nonprofit, and local government sectors, and a job and volunteer fair. Free headshots will also be available.
Who should attend? Job seekers in the Arlington, VA and DC region.
This event is hosted by the Leadership Center of Arlington and sponsored by Arlington Economic Development.

The January meeting will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 7:00 pm. Our theme is “Building a Beloved Community”. “Beloved Community” is a vision of a society where justice, love, and equality prevail, popularized by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Our guest speaker is Rev. Dr. Adrian Nelson II, the pastor of Lomax African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church and a Dr. King Scholar.

This national holiday aims to transform Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s teachings into individual and community action, working towards his vision of a beloved community. Volunteer Arlington honors this day by connecting individuals of all ages across Arlington and Northern Virginia to engage in meaningful service. Join us for a variety of service projects on Monday, January 19, 2026, with an opening program at Washington-Liberty High School.
